Océ und Docapost geben Partnerschaft bekannt und führen innovativen Océ PRISMAdesigner ein.

Strategic partnership for an innovative document design and composition solution

Venlo, The Netherlands, 19 May 2010 - Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, and Docapost, a European leader in document output management, today announce their new OEM partnership with Sefas Innovation. Océ PRISMA®designer, powered by the new Open Print technology from Sefas Innovation, is an exciting new document design and composition solution which is extremely innovative in the area of collaborative workflows, object oriented design and enrichment of legacy applications. Océ PRISMAdesigner is the leading solution for direct mail, TransPromo and transactional printing applications in the professional printing environment.

Leading the document industry in document composition and enrichment

Océ and Docapost are proud to announce a far-reaching OEM partnership. Sefas Innovation, subsidiary of Docapost – the operational holding company of French Groupe La Poste, expert in workflow management and business process optimization – is the Océ’s software technology provider for a new ground breaking high-end document design and composition solution called Océ PRISMAdesigner. A sneak preview of the new technology can be seen at IPEX, 18th – 25th May 2010.

The design environment of Océ PRISMAdesigner is built around a central repository that allows any document stakeholder to share resources in real-time, regardless of location. Data is separated from design and design from output. This provides the flexibility to use any type and number of data files in the design process and to render documents in any output format, including electronic formats and delivery. Due to the browser based architecture all Océ PRISMAdesigner functionalities can be accessed via integrated web portals.

Customers get quick time-to-market delivery

“When we first looked at the Open Print technology, we were very impressed with the way in which they can enrich and enhance legacy applications so effectively,” said Sebastian Landesberger, Executive Vice President Océ Production Printing. “Additionally the collaborative workflow capabilities and the easy-to-use object oriented composition environment will allow our customers to quickly develop and maintain their applications. This is important, as it allows our customers to achieve a quick time-to-market delivery.”
